Terex Demag

Terex Demag equips all new mobile cranes with an industrial PC serving as a modern human-machine interface. The primary requirement? "We wanted to create a graphical user interface which far exceeds the potential offered by standard PLCs. We also wanted an interface which could offer graphical inputs with a PC-quality resolution."

By introducing ADC/MDC terminals from DLoG, tire producer Pirelli has embraced new concepts in automotive and motorcycle tire production. The results are added company advantages, such as faster and more reliable production as well as much lower error rates.

Complete transparency is popular at Degussa AG: the introduction of terminals for acquiring production data has enabled the production and logistics of Plexiglas® products in the methacrylates division to become more transparent and manageable. All goods movements can be displayed and controlled precisely with the help of DLoG forklift terminals, wireless LAN and SAP.

Döhler Group

At the Döhler Group's Biebesheim warehouse, all movements of goods will now be entered electronically and transmitted wirelessly to the company's SAP system. The DLoG logistics terminals and barcode scanners form the basis of this system and are installed on all the forklifts and trucks at the warehouse.

Airport Munich

Munich Airport's ground handling service uses 70 DLoG RF terminals in its buses. These ensure that the transportation unit runs efficiently. This has proved a success. Optimised bus usage has reduced response times and made processes both faster and more flexible. Thanks to this, the transportation unit has been able to meet the airlines' new and more demanding quality standards - despite continual increases in passenger numbers and flights.

At DaimlerChrysler's A-Class plant in Rastatt, the "electronic kanban" pilot project has been a great success. The DLoG Touch IPCs installed there had to be: RF-compatible, vibration-proof devices with automatic cut-off and brightness control. DaimlerChrysler's conclusion? Not only has the material flow been optimised, but considerable savings have been made as well.

At the AUDI plant, DLoG rugged mobile PCs provide support for the forklift drivers who are responsible for material flow in production.

DLoG is a leading provider of rugged industrial PCs for logistics applications (forklifts, trucks, picking wagons) on large machines (construction, farming) and in industrial manufacturing.
