The TREK-510 is not just ready for anything – thanks to its numerous interfaces it is a true communication professional which can be used in cars – taxis, emergency vehicles etc – as well as in larger vehicles such as busses and commercial vehicles.

It integrates all functions such as tracking, locating, and I/O with WWAN support and also includes GPRS, CDMA or HSDPA.

TREK-510 supports extended vehicle diagnosis via the CAN-bus technology and the J1939 Standard for transferring diagnosis data. Vehicle components can therefore be easily connected with a twisted pair cable and diagnosis information can be exchanged between the driver and the controller. This efficient, real-time exchange of information prevents component failure, ensures system stability and means that the vehicles can be used longer. This saves money and the fleet remains competitive.

One particularly practical aspect is that customers can run their own applications on the usual Windows CE platform. A Software Development Kit (SDK) supports customers by quickly providing applications from the entire TREK product range.
