DLoG power supply units can offset voltage drops and extreme peaks.
Our engineers are investing a lot of time in the planning of specifications to allow fail-safe use of the industrial PCs even in the most adverse voltage conditions.
Vehicle-mounted terminals time and again experience voltage drops and extreme peaks due to the on-board voltage of the vehicle . It is therefore important that the terminal can offset these variations. During start-up of, e.g., a diesel-driven forklift, with a nominal on-board voltage of 24V, the on-board network temporarily drops by about 40-50%. Therefore, the power supply units were designed to be able to bridge voltage drops of up to 50% nominally for 20s, or support outages of up to 5ms.
In addition, we test the resilience of the power supply unit in connection with the system in accordance with testing standard EN 61 000-4-4 by using voltage peaks of up to 2KV, thus significantly outperforming the industry's requirements.
In the field of mobile and stationary industrial PCs, DLoG is developing their own power supply units in cooperation with leading partners. These units can withstand the most extreme environmental usage conditions while being serviceable.
The technical development of our power supply units focuses on their effectiveness, the electrical and physical detachment of the unit from the terminal, and an extremely high interference resistance with an equally long life span.
