Chemical Resistance

The resistance of the DLoG touch screen displays against chemical influences has been tested according to American standards (ASTM-F-1598-95).

The chemical resistance of the DLoG touch screen displays has been tested against industrial and household chemicals (according to ASTM-F-1598-95). The touch screen surface does not change due to the effect of the following chemicals over a time period of one hour at 22 °C and 45 % relative humidity:

Industrial chemicals:

acetone, methyl ethyl ketone (MEK), toluene, concentrated hydrochloric acids, gasoline for cleaning, light gasoline, gasoline, motor oil (10W30), diesel fuel, gear fluid, brake fluid, antifreeze, hydraulic oil

Household chemicals:

tea, coffee, ketchup, mustard, vinegar, beer, Coca-Cola®, red wine, cooking oil, Wisk®, detergent, Fantastik®, all purpose cleansers, dishwashing detergent (Joy®), Windex®, Formula 409® cleanser, Clorox®, bleach (5.25 %), hydrogen peroxide (3 %), Lysol, ethyl alcohol, isopropyl alcohol
