Standard FG Touch

The FG construction is the simplest of the resistive touch sensors and does not meet our requirements in the area of robust industrial computers.

The support glass itself is coated with a conductive ITO in this design. ITO stands for indium tin oxide here, a material that is semiconducting and transparent.

The result is that only a single polyester coating needs to be laminated.
By vapour deposition of the ITO layer onto the support glass, this design is indeed characterized by excellent optical properties, but has a very reduced mechanical stability, which is why this design does not permit any chemical curing of the support glass.

The main area of use of this solution is limited to office environments or medical technology.

Due to the particularly high mechanical requirements in the industrial area, DLoG does not use this type of construction.
